Dear Friend,

It all began many years ago when I built my first PC.  My dad had just ordered a brand new computer from Tiger Direct which came with a catalog because at the time the internet was not real big yet. Now I have used a computer since I can  remember mind you. It started with the black screen, command prompt computers, who those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, your lucky. Anyway, back to my story, I started looking through the catalog and took interest in the fact that it would be much more economical to build a computer myself that to buy one at retail! I decided to go for it and started reading everything on computers that I could get my hands on. That was in middle school, probably the sixth grade.

I built the PC and after some troubleshooting from tech support at Tiger Direct, who where very helpful, and a new motherboard I got the computer up and running. To top it all off it was an even better PC than my dads and it cost me MUCH LESS money!

Since that time I slowly started building up my reputation for the computer go-to guy among all of my friends and parents friends. It started as a part time hobby which eventually grew into a part time business.

All through high school and college I would build PCs for people, clean off their viruses or spy-ware/ad-ware, answer technical questions, be tech support over the phone, upgrade PCs, and fix all kinds of computer problems.

My last two summers and my senior year of high school I had the awesome opportunity to participate in what started out to be an network technician internship with the Carolina Panthers and soon turned into a full time coop. Needless to say this was quite an experience and gave me valuable insight as to how a company's IT department is run.

After that time I went off to college and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with the intention of some day applying to Dental School at UNC Chapel Hill. After being in an internship with an orthodontist and talking with numerous dentists I discovered, although I enjoyed this field, that my true passion was helping the personal computer user.

I started working with the ResNet department at UNCG a short time after attending the University because I realized how frustrating it was for students when they needed to use their PC and it wasn't properly functioning for them. My goal was to help the student take an active part to better their knowledge of the PC.

From that day on I started checking into the IT industry and asking business owners about their industry.  I discovered the many different types of IT companies out there and realized that this field is enormous. In fact its to big to be a Jack of all trades, if you want the work done right, you need a specialist.

Since then I have gone into business full time and am enjoying the thrills that business ownership has to offer, as well as the struggles, I can relate to all you business owners out there.
